National Exercise With Your Kids Week runs from August 4-10th. The program "encourages parents and guardians alike to empower their children to become physically active. Staying active together can help children build confidence while teaching them the importance of physical activity to lead a healthy life."
It is recommended that children get at least 60 minutes of exercise each day. However, any activity is better than no activity! Below are two workouts to do with your kids this week. Feel free to modify each exercise, based on your child's needs.
Here is a video of my granddaughter, Wesley, attempting to get this workout done!
My daughter-in-law, Natalie, did this exercise with her kids. I love how she modified the pushups for her kids.
